Randomsville, Population 434.7 – SAAA-LUTE!!
I went to the grocery store tonight. My total was a palindrome: $20.02
My son is starting to recognize Disney movies and requests them according to what he likes on the cover of the DVD box. He calls A Bug’s Life “Bugs”, The Lion King is “Pumba”, and for some reason Toy Story 2 is “Dog Pig”. Out of all the characters in Toy Story 2 I’m not sure why Aden most identifies with the dog and the pig, but he has. I plan on watching Kill Bill, Volume 1 this week or as Aden would probably call it “Sword Girl”.
I read on espn.com’s Page 3 this week about all of the at-bat music for the 30 major league baseball teams. I might be going out on a limb here, but baseball players might just have the worst taste in music…ever. One of the few interesting songs has to be David Delucci’s choice of “The Godfather Waltz” from the first Godfather movie. I can’t imagine that getting anybody psyched about an at-bat, but at least it’s not “Yeah” by Usher, which is the at-bat choice for about 80% of everybody else in the Majors.
Today was the run-off for Houston County Tax Commissioner between Judy “Big Freak Head” Kluge and Mark Ku-SHINKA! I’m anxiously awaiting the results.
I thought these little random bits would be fun to do. I figured if Larry King could parlay this crap into a USA Today column, I could easily bang a few random thoughts out. Well, I can, but it's just not very fun. I promise to never do this again.
